“So where are we all going finally?”

“Digha”

My mind and heart badly wanted a break from the tiring, monotonous city life.

So when I found out that there could be a chance for a short trip in the weekend, I couldn’t control my excitement infront of my brother. He also needed a break and after his marriage we never made any trip together with mom and dad. I told him about the idea about of a short family trip together with mom and dad. My mom and dad were equally excited about the idea. Finally we headed to Digha during the last weekend.

 

 

Digha, perhaps the most common place for people in Kolkata for a weekend trip. So I expected a crowded Digha. It was crowded severely. Most of the hotels were booked, hardly any rooms were available. The month of April is the starting of summer in Kolkata. The scorching heat, unbearable humidity was also present there. When we reached our hotel it was afternoon. I took some rest and then headed for the beach in the evening. The old Digha beach was filled with rocks during the time of Tsunami. People do not take bath here mostly. New Digha is preferably good for having fun in sea and beach.

 

 

 

Whenever I go outside I carry my camera along with me. I always try to find some moments to capture. But perhaps the heat, the humidity made me tired to take out my camera and shoot. I took very few photographs.

 

 

It was a refreshing trip. After two days of fun, we had to come back to our daily schedule. I wish I could spend more time there.

“So where are we going next?”, I chuckled.
